Gods plan to reconcile humanity back to himself. The Bible says in Romans “For the wages of sin are death the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus.” Jesus Christ the Son of the living God left heaven and all his glory to come to earth to be born of a virgin lived among us and die; that through his death and the shedding of his blood the penalty of sin would be paid for in full. Through death of Jesus Christ the cross provides a way back to the Father.

There was a little boy playing ball outside with his friend near the roadside. The two kids were having fun for hours throwing the ball back and forth to each other. The boy’s mother came outside to check on the kids and noticed the ball roll into the street and her son’s friend went after it. The boy was focused on the ball and didn’t see the oncoming car so the woman ran toward the boy pushed him out of the way, knowing she was going to get hit and killed by the vehicle. Jesus like that mom willingly ran into the street by going to the cross and pushing us out of the way saving our lives.
