The cross broke the power that sin had over us and the guilt that accompanied it. We no longer have to carry the weight and burden of our sin; we are free to leave it at the feet of Jesus never to be bothered by it again unless we pick it back up. Think about an area in your life that you are controlled by and it’s destroying you. Your deliverance is found in humbling yourself at the cross and surrendering to Jesus Christ.
