The baptism in the Holy Spirit that empowers us to perform for Christ, also places a greater desire to be active in our love for Christ. Every healthy relationship will transform us for the better. My wife makes me a better man by driving my thought process to consider her needs. She does much for meeting my needs, too. She does more than meet physical needs, though. When I need to work through challenges she let's me talk them through with her. She "shoots straight" with me when I am not going in a direction that is considerate of those that depend on me like my children and she, or people that I am helping walk in their new birth.
