When you are baptized in the Holy Spirit, a deep love of people becomes a major driver of your actions toward others and especially those that have not accepted the forgiveness of sin from Jesus Christ. We realize that many, while they may have had experience with "Christianity" they have not had experience with Christ. We begin to act on our knowledge and love for Christ and apply the love we receive from Him to others. The Holy Spirit sustains that love for the lost - those that have not found the forgiveness given by Jesus.

We become ambassadors of God that cooperate with His Holy Spirit to bring the knowledge of forgiveness to others. Mark records this compelling by the Holy Spirit, "Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them..." It was the Holy Spirit that worked with them as they went out as ambassadors to find and tell others about the forgiveness of sin found through Jesus Christ.  Paul writes it clearly that we regard no one from the world point of view...to implore that people be reconciled to God.

Have you reconciled with God? Have you experienced the new birth? Are you ready to experience the full promise of God? He is near you, now (Ephesians, Philippians, Hebrews, James) and waiting for you to ask for His promises to be fulfilled in you life. The promise of eternal life with a new birth and the promise of baptism in his Holy Spirit which will empower you to live and do great things with, and for, him. Just ask Him. He is calling out for you, "Where are you?"

A More Active Love for the Lost
