Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be uninformed. You know that when you were pagans you were led astray to mute idols, however you were led. Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking in the Spirit of God ever says "Jesus is accursed!" and no one can say "Jesus is Lord" except in the Holy Spirit.

 Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.

Message of Wisdom- The ability to apply Gods word practically: skillfully offering specific direction concerning the areas of a person or group of people’s lives.

Message of Knowledge- The ability to be a channel of confirmation to communicate a specific message to a person or group of people.

Faith- God gives you vision (shows you something that He wants you to do for Him) and even though the situations and circumstances look impossible for you to accomplish your mission you believe God will come through no matter what.

Gifts of Healing- God will use you as a channel for His healing power to flow through you to restore health and cure disease.

Miraculous Powers- God will use us as an instrument to manifest His supernatural power that defies the impossible.

Prophecy- God gives a specific message to be proclaimed to an individual or group of people. This message can be foretelling such as future events of forth telling present events. This gift is usually given to encourage, strengthen and consolation.

Discernment of Spirits- The ability to recognize the difference between a truthful spirit and a lying spirit. To know when someone is speaking a Word from God or if they are speaking from a carnal mind (they mean well but it’s not God.)

Speaking in Tongues- Receiving a specific message for a person or group and delivering that word in a language that can’t be understood by the human tongue.

Interpretation of Tongues- The ability to receive and communicate the meaning of the unknown tongue to a person or group of people.
