Before man and woman were separated from God they knew no wrong and their nakedness didn’t bother them. They had no fears, worries and were living life in true happiness. Have you ever done something that you knew was wrong and felt bad for what you did? Maybe even try to find some place to run and hide because your parents or guardians were going to punish you. Remember the anxiety and flood of emotions that overwhelmed you? There are some cases that the feeling of guilt just will not go away.

And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden. But the LORD God called to the man and said to him, "Where are you?"  And he said, "I heard the sound of you in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked, and I hid myself." He said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?"

This is what the first man and woman went through when they disobeyed God.
